Are you coming to the Manufacturing Industry Business Festival at MICS on April 12?

MICS is participating in the Manufacturing Industry Business Festival, organized by the municipality to celebrate its 750th anniversary. On April 12, there will be plenty to see and do at Synergy (Conradstraat 4) at MICS—for young and old alike!

What can you expect?
For example, Makerminds will offer workshops on robot programming, let you get creative with a 3D pen, and even help you build your own robot.

We will showcase how MICS fits into the future of Schiedam and how it will take shape step by step in the coming years. To do this, we will present various 3D models and use augmented reality. This way, you can get an impression of how the new MICS buildings, with their transparent facades, will become true showcases for the manufacturing industry. The buildings will make the technology visible—the brilliant minds and skilled hands working inside.

On April 12, several companies will also open their doors to the public, including Boers & Co. This is your chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at Schiedam’s manufacturing industry. You are welcome to visit and discover MICS!
