HiDelta strengthens its technical network at MICS

HiDelta and MICS have been connected for some time. With its own location at MICS, this partnership now also has a physical presence on the campus. From this location, HiDelta aims to bring together technical knowledge from different sectors even more effectively and strengthen its connections with high-tech manufacturing companies on the campus and across the wider region.

Partner Manager Boris Gorkovoi cites the location and its links with the mechatronics sector as key reasons for choosing MICS. “At MICS, we are right at the heart of the technology-driven manufacturing industry that HiDelta represents. We want to be visible and close to our partners in the region.”

That connection is also very tangible. Companies such as Boers & Co and Metrohm, as well as the recently opened Humanoid Application Center, are HiDelta partners based at MICS. This creates new opportunities to introduce knowledge and applications from the campus to HiDelta’s wider network.

The network covers various technical sectors in South Holland, ranging from mechatronics and shipbuilding to space, horticulture and pharmaceuticals. According to Boris, companies can learn a great deal from one another by looking beyond the boundaries of their own sectors. HiDelta therefore not only brings organisations together, but also encourages the exchange of knowledge and expertise.

The partnership with the Humanoid Application Center is one example. HiDelta wants to introduce its partners to humanoid technology and highlight the opportunities and challenges it presents. This enables companies to explore where this technology could add value within their own organisations, for example in addressing labour shortages.

“It is not just about what you can gain from a network, but also about what you can contribute yourself. By sharing knowledge and experience, companies can help each other and we can bring knowledge from different sectors together,” says Boris.

Niels Langenhuizen (Director at MICS developer SDK Vastgoed) symbolically presented Boris Gorkovoi with the MICS key*.
“HiDelta knows the ecosystem around MICS well and, through its broad technical network, represents the various sectors that come together here. This makes HiDelta a valuable link within the MICS community and helps support what we aim to encourage here: innovation, collaboration and talent development.”

Curious about the HiDelta network? Companies are welcome to get in touch and discover what the network could offer them, as well as what knowledge and expertise they can contribute. Keep an eye on the events page.
