Made@MICS #2: CRAFT Education

At Made@MICS, we showcase the many exciting developments taking place on our innovation campus. We highlight the work of our partners – how they strengthen our ecosystem and drive innovation within the mechatronics sector. In this episode, we feature CRAFT Education®, an accredited private vocational (MBO-level) training provider focused on the manufacturing industry, with particular expertise in metalworking, electrical engineering and mechatronics.

Vocational training for the manufacturing industry: modular, personal and future-focused

CRAFT Education® specialises in training skilled professionals for the manufacturing sector. Based in the Synergy building on the MICS campus, they offer education that is fully modular, tailored to the individual, and flexible in pace. Learners set their own tempo, creating space for in-depth learning, motivation, and above all: craftsmanship. “At MICS, innovative companies and educational institutions come together so we can teach new technologies, exchange knowledge and, hopefully, discover new things,” says Roy van Bussel, CRAFT Education.

Connected to the ecosystem

CRAFT Education is closely integrated into the MICS ecosystem. Its proximity to companies such as ECP – Expertise Centre for Precision Technology, StudioMBB, and Battolyser Systems creates a unique environment where learning, working and innovation go hand in hand. Students don’t just learn theory — they gain hands-on experience in a setting that prepares them for the technologies of tomorrow.
